Sir Bill Gates is leaving Microsoft

Yes. A shock to us all. Bill, who started Microsoft with a partner in the 1980s, and now has a personal fortune in excess of 67 billion, is retiring to concentrate on his charity work. He is allowing 2 years to move from his position and to give time for other projects he's working on to be completed. (Like Vista?) So expect Microsoft to be sans Gates in July 2008.
