Quantum Secrets - Using The Secret

For several weeks now I've been thinking about getting a new table for the office. As the budget is tight, it has remained as 'thinking about'. I personally didn't know how I was going to do it, though students would continue to remind me that the soft cover table I had just wasn't good enough for writing.

With this thought in mind, again, I went downstairs to wash my cup. No one uses the sink downstairs so I was quite surprised to see a lady washing dishes there. So I stood and waited.

She hadn't noticed me there and was very surprised and apologetic that I'd been waiting to use the sink. I said it was okay as I had plenty of time. I also said that my next student wasn't due for awhile, and I thought she was doing a good job and I didn't want to disturb her.

She told me that she was cleaning up after a closing down party. She was closing her office and getting rid of all their furniture. Then she said "Do you need any tables? I've got a few that I want to get rid of. I don't want any money for them."

Follow up:

I was, of course, very surprised and also pleased. So I promised to drop by in a few minutes and check them out.

I could only fit one in my office. It's a trestle table and it is the perfect size, colour and height for what I need. I said yes and promised to drop by and pick it up on the day they close.

The Secret continues to work!

Update 24th April.
Picked up the table today. A very nice girl helped me carry it up and informed me that they were closing the office and changing the business to be able to work from home.

I am very grateful to them for giving me this table. It is perfect for my students.
