In Touch Christian sermon just like the Secret

Apologies for the delay this month. Sick with the flu then had to spend time working through all the hundreds of spam comments this site attracts. Sometimes it's easier just to delete everything at once. As soon as I get time I'll disable the comment section.

Anyway...

Many Secretors know that the idea of asking the universe for something, expecting it to arrive and remaining in a state of bliss until it does, and living your life like you have already got it, has been around for at least 10,000 years, probably longer. So it is likely that it will crop up in every religion in the world.

Well, Dr Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministries delivered a sermon on June 15th 2008 which, if you replace every reference to 'God' with 'The Universe' you'd get pretty much a summary of everything in Rhonda Byrne's book.

It's definitely worth watching if you're a Christian interested in what the Secret is about and a Secretor interested in what Christianity is about. There are a lot of similarities.

Have you heard of the movie and book The Secret? It is basically about the law of attraction. Whatever you strongly think about, you'll attract. This is my blog about things that happen to me daily that I believe are due to following the steps in the movie/book The Secret. If you've read enough of the criticism and also read enough of the marketing and hype, take this diary into account when making your final conclusion!
